An event celebrating Immortelle’s 35th anniversary was held on Thursday, October 30th. The school’s front lot was transformed into a lovely event space with tents, tables and chairs. Approximately 100 attendees enjoyed an evening that included speeches by Jacqui Leotaud, the prinicipal of Immortelle, the Chairman of the Board, and the founder of the initial Immortelle school. ICDR- Trinidad and Tobago was represented by three members of ICDR Trinidad (Lucy, Reena, and Laura) who gave a speech and presented the school with a commemorative plaque in addition to backpacks for each student and staff member. Entertainment for the evening included one of Immortelle’s student’s, Daniel, who played the steel pan and received a standing ovation for his talent!

The evening celebrated 35 years of success, including the grand opening of the newly located Vocational Centre, and the long term plan for Immortelle, which includes opening both an assisted-work facility, and an assisted living facility in the future!
